Founded in 2024, KMCT Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research stands as a proud addition to the KMCT group of institutions, upholding our tradition of excellence in education and research.
Located in Chathamangalam, Kozhikode, our commitment extends beyond mere academic excellence. We aim to nurture successful pharmacy professionals capable of making meaningful contributions to the field. As a sister concern of National College of Pharmacy, Kozhikode, and KMCT College of Pharmacy, Kuttipuram, we strive to provide a comprehensive and enriching learning environment in pharmacy education.
At KMCT Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, we offer both B.Pharm and D.Pharm courses, giving students a diverse range of options to tailor their education according to their interests and career aspirations.

Experience
With 18 years of teaching experience, Dr. Kathirvel has guided over 25 postgraduate students, published more than 40 peer-reviewed articles, achieved 225 citations, and holds an H-index of 7.
Previous Positions
Prior to his current role, Dr. Kathirvel was a Professor and Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical Analysis at the National College of Pharmacy, Kozhikode. He served as IIC Co-coordinator and IEDC Nodal Officer, contributing to innovation in academia.
PhD Guidance
A recognized PhD guide under multiple universities, including Sri Ramachandra University (Chennai), Vinaya University (Salem), Mahatma Gandhi University (Puducherry), and Kerala University of Health Sciences, Dr. Kathirvel currently supervises three PhD scholars.
Research and Recognition
Specializing in analytical method development, Dr. Kathirvel has received awards, including third prize at AIMST University, Malaysia (2023). He has filed two patents, authored a book chapter with Springer, and actively reviews for top journals. Additionally, he has secured several research grants.
